How to Care Your Linen Clothes

1. How to wash linen clothing?

Linen fabric made clothes can be washed both by hand and by gentle machine wash.

While washing with machine, separate white, dark, and colored linens. Select DELICATE CYCLE OPTION of your machines and choose lukewarm or cold water (<40°C/104°F) options while washing with machine. Avoid using high temperatures than suggested water temperatures, because high temperatures may cause up to 10% shrinkage.

While washing by hand, fill a small tub or sink with lukewarm or cold water (<40°C/104°F). Submerge the garment and let it soak. Use gentle movements to swish clothes. Avoid scrubbing or twisting actions that can stretch or damage fabric. Drain the sink or tub, and refill it with cool rinse water. Rinse and repeat this process until all soap is removed.

Use the delicate detergents for your linen clothes. Don’t bleach your linen clothes.

    2. How to dry linen clothing?

Prefer hanging to dry for best results. Air drying is a great option that adds softness to the linen clothes.

Our pre-washed linen garments can also be easily dried with a dryer on low heat. Remove from the dryer when they’re still slightly damp and hang or lie flat to finish the drying process.

    3. Is ironing required? If so, how to iron linen clothes?

For the best-softened linen look, do not iron, leave it slightly creased. We do not suggest you iron your garment, but if this is how you like, we recommend ironing it inside-out on a medium-high setting. Garments may also be steamed in a moderate setting.

    4. How to store your linen clothes?

Avoid mildew by being sure that your clothes are completely dry. Cool and well-ventilated places not exposed to direct sunlight are the ideal ones to store your linen clothes. Use linen or  bags to store your clothes, DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS.
